Sergiy's baby update

Alisa is doing much better, her parents say. She still is in neonatal resuscitation department, but she can breathe herself just fine. There is a havy antibiotic treatment to remove the infection, so things move slowly. Sergey was in the church meeting today, and brought his wife for an hour (then took her back to the hospital). They are doing ok, the worst circumstances seem to be far way behind. Sergiy is very greatful for the prayers and care!

News about Alisa Strilchuk

Sergiy informed me today that Alisa is doing much better. The doctors at first suspected heart problems, yet it was the lungs she had problem with. Having oxigen ventilation of her lungs she's doing ok. In a few days mother and baby will be transfered to a children's hospital in BT, where they will provide treatment (massage) to force the complete transition to the normal breathing.
Thank you for your prayers and loving care!

News from Sergiy

Sergiy Strilchuk just telephoned. He says the doctors have bad news about his daughter. Some suspect pneumonia, yet they cannot decide what to do. The child may die, so please be prayerful.

Another prayer request

Lydia Bayrakivska (left) is in the hospital, having some kind of severe skin disease. She cannot walk. Please, remeber her in your prayers.

New Baby

Sergiy and Olya Strilchuk have a baby-girl Alisa. Alisa was born yesterday, June 10.

Today, Sergiy requested a prayer for his daughter, who's health condition is not stable.

Technical problems

My good old digital camera is dead, after being activelly used for almost 5 years. Material things do not last. So, at least for now, untill the camera's repaired (if ever, wich is most likely), i will be posting pictures made by Evan Bowers, one of the LST members.

LST Movie Party

Last week our LST team made a 2 days trip to Sevastopol, Crimea. They had to leave Thursday night, so the party was held on Wednesday, after the Bible Study. Several readers came. We had coffee and tea, and watched the "Enchanted" movie.
The compaign will last for less then 3 weeks from now. Still, i receive phonecalls from people who want to sign up.  This is just usual, along with numerous "no shows".
I am trying to be in the church building as much as possible during the reading sessions.
